 Watkiss feels Weaver can improve Kidderminster's side |
New Kidderminster boss Stuart Watkiss has signed Lincoln defender Simon Weaver and Doncaster striker Chris Beardsley on free transfers. Weaver, 26, and Beardsley, 20, have both signed contracts at Aggborough until the end of the season.
"He's the type of player we need," Watkiss said of Weaver.
"If we are to get ourselves out of trouble we have to start re-building and tightening up at the back," he told the Harriers' website.
Weaver started over 100 games for Lincoln but asked for a move earlier this season and recently spent almost two months on loan at Macclesfield.
Beardsley, who previously played under Watkiss at Mansfield, joined Doncaster in the summer but started just three games.
