Kettering Town re-sign adaptable forward Serge Makofo
Kettering Town have re-signed Congolese forward Serge Makofo after his impressed on trial at the club.
The 23-year-old played for the Poppies in 2006/07 before spells at Grays Athletic, Maidenhead and Burton, as well as a recent trial at Gillingham.
Manager Lee Harper told BBC Radio Northampton: "He's definitely got the pace and the ability.
"I think he needs an arm around him, to give him belief to go and play, and then we just need to get him the ball."
Makofo played in the Poppies' 2-2 draw with Alfreton during pre-season and was also involved in Tuesday's 3-1 defeat by Luton Town in the Blue Square Bet Premier.
