BBC Suffolk has announced it will carry commentary of every Ipswich Town game for the next three seasons.
A new agreement has been reached with the club for coverage of all games to return after the station only carried commentary of away matches in 2008/9.
Managing editor Peter Cook said: "We're delighted to be returning full match commentary to BBC Suffolk.
"We know how passionate our listeners are and we're looking forward to celebrating a great season with them."
Ipswich Town chief executive Simon Clegg said: "It's a really exciting and dynamic time for the club at the moment.
"We have listened to a very clear message that we have got from the fans in terms of where they would like to see the commentary of this great team in years to come.
"We are really excited that we're announcing that the commentary rights will return to BBC Radio Suffolk.
"Everything that we do as a club that can have an impact upon what happens on the pitch needs to be looked at, studied and developed, to give us a competitive edge."
The BBC will provide coverage of Ipswich and the rest of the Football League on TV, radio and online.
A new television deal will include a weekly highlights show, plus 10 live Championship matches will be shown on BBC screens for the first time.
The BBC Sport website will show goals from all Football League clubs.
