Striker Lee pens new Ipswich deal
Alan Lee
Lee had been the subject of two bids from Hull over the summer
Republic of Ireland striker Alan Lee has signed a new deal which will keep him at Ipswich until at least 2009.

The 28-year-old, who was the subject of two failed bids from Hull over the summer, has penned a two-year deal with the possibility of a further 12 months.

"I am glad to get things sorted but it was never in my mind to move on," he told the club's official website.

"We have some very good players and I want to play my part helping Ipswich get back to the Premiership."
