Peters has recently been playing for the Canada Under-20 side | Ipswich have been boosted after winger Jaime Peters was handed a new work permit, allowing him to sign the new three-year contract he recently agreed. The Canada international, 20, has made 40 first-team appearances since joining the Suffolk club two years ago. When he originally arrived in 2005, Peters' initial work permit application was turned down, but that decision was reversed after an appeal. He will miss part of pre-season in July to compete in the Under-20 World Cup.
