Ipswich Town have signed defender Ian Miller for a nominal fee from Ryman Division One North side Bury Town. The 21-year-old has trained with Ipswich for the past few weeks and is has signed a deal until June 2007.
"He's got a great attitude and we're delighted to have him on board," boss Jim Magilton told Ipswich's website.
"He played well for Bury against our reserves in pre-season, and I have liked what I have seen of him ever since," he added.
Ipswich will also play a pre-season friendly at Bury next summer as part of the deal.
