Defender Alex Bruce has signed a three-year deal with Ipswich after leaving Birmingham. The 21-year-old is Jim Magilton's first signing as Town boss.
Bruce played under father Steve at Birmingham and he admitted: "The fact that my dad was the manager did get in the way.
"My team-mates and the fans were fantastic but the press gave me a hard time. Now I'm free of that burden and relishing the challenge at Ipswich."
