Burnley striker Alex MacDonald has joined Inverness Caledonian Thistle on loan until the end of the season.
MacDonald, who can also play in midfield, scored seven goals in eight games for Scotland Under-19s, before being called up to the Under-21 side.
The 19-year-old has made eight appearances for the Clarets.
Inverness manager Terry Butcher told the club website: "We've had a look at Alex in training and he's shaped up very well."
And the Highlanders boss added: "We're pleased he's agreed to see out the season with us and he adds to our attacking resources."
MacDonald spent part of last season on loan with Falkirk before he was recalled to Turf Moor with an injury.
He is Butcher's second January loan signing. Midfielder Aaron Doran has moved from Blackburn until the end of the season.
