Ian Black, Michael Fraser and Don Cowie have yet to agree new deals
Three Inverness CT players who are out of contract at the end of the season have yet to sign new deals.
Midfielders Ian Black and Don Cowie were offered terms along with goalkeeper Michael Fraser in the summer but have yet to agree terms.
Inverness captain Grant Munro, whose contract was also due to run out, has signed a new three-year deal.
"There's a misconception that they have only just been offered contracts," said director of football Graeme Bennett.
Bennett said he hoped the trio would agree new deals to remain at the Caledonian Stadium.
"These four players were all offered contracts at the beginning of the season," he said.
"Grant Munro, who doesn't have an agent, signed a three-year extension in October.
"Don Cowie made it quite clear on the advice of his agent that he would wait for the window.
"Ian Black and Michael Fraser, through their agents, didn't accept the offer."
Meanwhile, midfielder Russell Duncan is expecting a physical encounter when Inverness entertain Dundee United on Saturday.

Inverness will be without Ross Tokely who begins a two match suspension and Duncan thinks the big right-back will be a particular miss under these circumstances.
"I think you'll always miss Tokes' height especially against teams like United and Hearts," he said.
"But it's now up to whoever comes in to make sure that they do well and give the manager a headache in two weeks time when Ross is available."
