Marsh did not make the first team breakthrough at Old Trafford |
Inverness have former Manchester United youngster Phil Marsh on trial but face competition for his signature. The versatile 20-year-old was a regular for the Old Trafford reserves before being released in June.
"Phil has trained with us this week and done very well," said Caley Thistle manager Charlie Christie.
"I hope he'll be involved in our weekend friendlies. But I know he has a couple of offers from England so we'll need to make up our minds quite soon."
Marsh began his career as a striker but played more often in defence during his time with Manchester United.
Meanwhile, teenage Austrian midfielder Martin Pusic is awaiting international clearance to play in this weekend's games at Keith and Inverurie.
