Christie singled out Grant Munro's performance against Rangers |
Inverness Caley Thistle manager Charlie Christie said the 1-0 victory over Rangers was the club's greatest since joining the Scottish Premier League. "To come to a place like Ibrox and get three points, for a club of our size, is phenomenal," said Christie.
"I regard that as our best league victory since we joined the SPL, given the magnitude of the club we were playing against.
"The 600 or so away fans who travelled down had an entertaining day."
Speaking to BBC Sport about his side's performance, Christie singled out the efforts of defender Grant Munro.
"He's is our one real home-grown player in Inverness and we take great pride in him," he said.
"Poor Grant never gets a word of recognition, but in performances like today, his time may come.
"He's a future captain of the club and today's performance shows why."
