George Boateng has won an appeal aginst the three-match ban imposed after he was sent off in Wednesday's Premier League defeat at Blackburn.
The 34-year-old Hull midfielder was shown a straight red card by referee Lee Probert after a challenge on Rovers midfielder Morten Gamst Pedersen.
"To say it is a nonsense is an understatement," said Hull manager Phil Brown after the match.
"It is clearly a clash of heads and a brave challenge by both players."
