Forward Fagan has been dogged by injuries this season
Hull City forward Craig Fagan is to have a knee operation which is expected to keep him out for up to three weeks.
Fagan has already missed a huge part of the season with a broken leg, which he sustained in the 2-1 win at Newcastle United in September.
He made a full recovery from the injury and has since scored against Manchester City and West Bromwich Albion.
Meanwhile Daniel Cousin is back in training after recovering from similar surgery on his knee.
Hull City boss Phil Brown told BBC Look North: "Craig will be, fingers crossed, okay for Blackburn.
"We did [agree to him] going in [for surgery] because the expertise said we needed to. Whatever was done, was done, and fortunately for us it wasn't major.
"Hopefully Craig will be on the training ground either Monday or Tuesday next week."
