Hull City manager Phil Brown has confirmed he is lining up a bid for Wolves midfielder Seyi Olofinjana.
"We will be tabling a bid for Olofinjana in the near future," Brown told BBC Radio Humberside.
But he has also revealed that the two clubs' valuation of the 28-year-old Nigerian international differ.
"We've spoken to Mick McCarthy on a couple of occasions so we know what Mick's valuation of the player is," added Brown.
Meanwhile, the Tigers are giving a week-long trial to South African international Delron Buckley, who has joined them for pre-season training in the foothills of the Italian Alps.

The 30-year-old, who has a German passport and has played for South Africa 60 times, is currently at Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund but has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave if a prescribed transfer fee is met.
"I had the pleasure of watching him on a couple of occasions when he was at VfB Bochum in the Bundesliga," said Brown.
"He got transferred from there to Dortmund, he's currently available for a set fee and he's available to come on trial so I decided to exercise that right."
One man set to leave Hull City is striker Michael Bridges, who has not travelled to Italy with the squad.
"We've confirmed that we'll accept bids for Michael," said Brown.
"He wasn't on the retained list at the end of last season and there have been one or two clubs interested in him - hence the reason we left him behind."
