Okocha is considering retiring from football

Hull City's Jay-Jay Okocha has refused to rule out retirement even if they are promoted to the Premier League.

The ex-African Footballer of the Year has had an injury-hit season with the Tigers but he could play some part in their play-off campaign.

Okocha, 35, told BBC Look North: "I have to be honest about it, if I can still help the team I will be here, if not I'll call it a day."

The midfielder joined the Tigers last summer after spending a year in Qatar.

"I have to see after the season how I feel to see if I can play another," added the former Nigeria skipper.

Okocha, along with Dane Henrick Pedersen and Australian Richard Garcia, will be added to the squad for the Tigers' first play-off game at Watford on Sunday.
