Hull manager Phil Brown has confirmed they will not be offering a deal to former Derby striker Malcolm Christie. The 28-year-old had a trial spell with the Championship club but has failed to earn a full-time contract.
Brown told BBC Radio Humberside: "We had a good look at Malcolm but have decided not to give a deal."
Christie was released by Middlesbrough in June after a succession of injuries limited him to just 49 appearances for the Riverside outfit.
During his four-and-a-half-year spell at Boro, Christie suffered two broken legs and a fractured foot.
