Hull City have signed Carlisle United striker Michael Bridges in a deal which is worth 350,000, according to BBC Radio Humberside. The 28-year-old former Leeds striker moved to Carlisle after an unsuccessful spell at Bristol City, scoring 15 goals in 30 appearances.
Meanwhile, Hull have transferred midfielder Stuart Green to Crystal Palace for 75,000.
And defender Mark Lynch has moved to Yeovil on a free transfer.
Former Sunderland and Leeds forward Bridges said: "Three or four clubs came in at the last minute once they knew Hull and Carlisle were negotiating.
"But being a northern lad this was a great option for me.
"It's a fantastic stadium and when you tie that in with the manager and the chairman's ambition it was a terrific opportunity for me."
