Huddersfield chairman Ken Davy will not be panicked into naming a new manager to replace Peter Jackson. Charlton coach Phil Parkinson was set to be unveiled on Wednesday, only for the former Colchester and Hull boss to have an 11th-hour change of mind.
Davy said: "We think it's now sensible to pause for breath over the Easter break, there are no time pressures.
"Gerry Murphy will continue to take charge of the first team for our Easter weekend fixtures."
