 Worthington has extended his stay at Huddersfield |
Huddersfield captain Jon Worthington has signed a contract extension which will keep him at the Galpharm Stadium until the summer of 2009. The 23-year-old has been plagued with injury problems this season.
He told the club's website: "I wouldn't have signed a further two years to my deal if I didn't think that we would be in the Championship within that time.
"I am an ambitious person and I want to play in the Championship wearing a Huddersfield Town shirt."
