Fowler has impressed during his loan spell with Huddersfield

The 20-year-old has agreed a deal until June 2006 after joining the Terriers on loan at the start of the season.

"I feel that over the next couple of years Lee could turn into a tremendous player for the club," Huddersfield boss Peter Jackson told the club's official website.

Fowler came through the youth-team ranks at Coventry and started seven first-team games for the Sky Blues before his summer switch to the McAlpine Stadium.
