"It was a relief. We just wanted that first win to come and once you get that, it takes a load of pressure off," he told the Cambridge Evening News.

"You could see the players were pleased at the end. We're up and running.

"We can beat anybody in this league, but there is no point talking about it. We have got to put a run together."
