Hibs manager Colin Calderwood plans transfer raids
Colin Calderwood watched his side slump to defeat by Celtic
Colin Calderwood remains hopeful of adding to his Hibs squad in the current transfer window as he looks to arrest their current poor run of form.
Hibs, who lost 3-0 to Celtic at Easter Road on Saturday, have already lost defender Sol Bamba to Leicester City.
"We've progressed quite a lot this week but all the things that can stall a deal have probably happened," Calderwood told BBC Scotland.
"But we'll start again and hope one or two will re-ignite themselves."
Hibs, who are four points ahead of bottom-placed Hamilton Accies, looked like going into the break all-square with Celtic after a scrappy first half.
But Gary Hooper gave the visitors the lead and a double from former Hibs striker Anthony Stokes consigned out-of-form Hibs to another defeat.
"Getting to half-time might have been a big help," Calderwood said. "But the game, prior to half time and afterwards really went away from us.
"Up until then, I thought it was okay. We gave possession away too easily on one or two occasions and we could've had the ball in their half for longer."
The Hibs boss insisted his side had improved since last week's goalless draw with Ayr United in the Scottish Cup.
"And we know we'll get better but too often we lost the opportunity to pose a bigger threat," he added.
"If you get beat 3-0 at home then you've got to be concerned. You can see the effect it has on the players but we can't allow them to go into their shells.
"It was a tough test against Celtic but we must to better."
