Hibs boss John Hughes is relieved to still be in the Scottish Cup after a 2-2 draw at home to Ross County.
"All the credit should go to Ross County," he said. "They were possibly the better team over the piece.
"Saying that, I did feel we had the better of the chances throughout the game, albeit the last five minutes was a bit hairy.
"At 2-1 we should have seen the game out and to lose the second goal the way we did was amateurish stuff."
Michael Gardyne fired in the final goal of the afternoon with 11 minutes remaining after Colin Nish and Derek Riordan had twice put Hibs in front during the first half.
"It was just a high ball down the channel and for some unknown reason no-one went over to cover it," was Hughes's take on Gardyne's strike.
"But I'm thankful we got the two goals and we know how difficult it's going to be going up to Dingwall. We have to play better than what we showed today but we're still in there fighting.
"I'm obviously disappointed and I'm a little bit frustrated but we're still in there and I'm not too disappointed because I know the effort, spirit and good football that Ross County showed. You have to take your hat off to that as well.
"You're frustrated and disappointed you're not getting that trip to Hampden for the semi-final but I'm upbeat as well because we're still in it.
"And I saw a lot there that we can go and improve on and if we do then hopefully the trip to Hampden will come."
