Hibernian pair John Hughes and Derek Riordan are the Clydesdale Bank Premier League manager and player of the month for September.
Hibs recovered from a 2-0 defeat by Hamilton to win their next two league outings, with Riordan on target against St Johnstone and Motherwell.
Former Hibs defender Hughes has made a bright start in his first season as manager at Easter Road.
Hibs currently sit third in the SPL, behind Rangers on goal difference.
Riordan has scored five goals already this season, although he has missed two penalties, and his form has earned him a recall to the Scotland squad for this month's friendly in Japan.
The 26-year-old, in his second spell at the Edinburgh club, won his only international cap more than four years ago, coming on as a second half substitute in a 2-2 friendly against Austria.
"I'm enjoying life at Hibs just now, the gaffer likes us to go out and play with freedom and that suits my game," Riordan told BBC Scotland.
"The Scotland call was a bit of a surprise but I'm delighted with that.
"I imagine Japan are a good side. I was out there with Celtic a few years ago and it was very tough."
Hughes has been in the Easter Rod hot seat for three months now but is still finding his feet at the club.
"It's a great environment and I've got a good bunch of boys, who want to learn and want to do well," said the manager.
"It's been a bit up and down and we're looking for consistency. Now and then we let ourselves down and the standards we are setting, but we're working hard on eradicating that."
