Craig thinks Hibs will be active in the January transfer market

"It would be in everybody's interest to clear the air," said Craig, who has himself applied for the post.

"The board will take their time to make a decision, but it would be better sooner rather than later.

"I've been asked to take the team over the festive season. Beyond that, I cannot comment."
