Craig thinks Hibs will be active in the January transfer market |
Hibernian caretaker Tommy Craig has urged the club's board to make a decision about a new manager soon to end uncertainty in the team's play. "It would be in everybody's interest to clear the air," said Craig, who has himself applied for the post.
"The board will take their time to make a decision, but it would be better sooner rather than later.
"I've been asked to take the team over the festive season. Beyond that, I cannot comment."
Hibs produced a fine performance to draw away to Scottish Premier League leaders Celtic in their first match following the resignation of manager John Collins.

But they followed that with a disappointing display in going down away to Kilmarnock on Wednesday.
"This situation is not unusual and I know what to expect," Craig told BBC Sport.
"The thing you have to deal with is the air of uncertainty and the players can get caught up in that.

But Craig said: "I think all clubs at this stage will be active in the January window and I don't expect Hibs to be any different."
