Collins has seen Hibs lose two consecutive away games |
Hibs manager John Collins was upset after Clayton Donaldson was denied an equalising goal against Inverness. The striker's shot hit the bar and crossed the goal-line but play was allowed to continue and the home side ran out 2-0 winners.
"Clayton said it was a goal but, unfortunatley, the referee thought otherwise," Collins told BBC Sport.
"If that was allowed to stand it could all have been different. We are bitterly disappointed to lose."
Hibs have yet to score on five visits to Inverness and have only picked up one win in their last seven outings.
"I don't think we played that badly," Collins added.
"It was one of those days when we were close but not close enough.
"Every team goes through little periods when you lose a bit of form. It's important not to get too worried."
