Hibernian have confirmed the signing of Motherwell midfielder Brian Kerr on a pre-contract agreement. The 25-year-old, capped three times by Scotland, will arrive at Easter Road on a two-year deal.
"Brian is a quality player who will help strengthen us in that vital area next season," manager John Collins told the Hibs website.
"He is an excellent passer of the ball, can go box to box, and provides some much needed experience."
Kerr, who has had a loan spells with Coventry and Livingston, played under Hibs assistant Tommy Craig at Newcastle United.
Kerr made only five first-team starts at St James' Park before moving to Motherwell in the summer of 2004.
