Hogg believes Collins is the man to take Hibs forward |
Hibernian defender Chris Hogg has urged his team-mates to get behind manager John Collins ahead of their Scottish Cup semi final with Dunfermline. Hogg - a regular under Collins' stewardship - says the apparent unrest in the dressing room is natural, given the club's recent form.
"After the performance at Dunfermline it would be wrong if people didn't say anything," he said.
"It shows a bit of desire from everyone involved in the club."
The former Ipswich man says that despite the headlines, it has been a positive week for the club and that Collins is the man for the job.

"The gaffer is his own man and he'll do very well at this club," he added.
"He has his own ideas and everything has been very positive, in my mind anyway.
"He knows what he wants to acheive and I think he is more than capable of doing it.
"John Collins has the work ethic to do it. He showed that throughout his playing career and he is a committed character.
"He is only good for Hibs."
Hogg was given his debut by former manager Tony Mowbray, but it is only now - under Collins - that his Hibs career has really come to fruition.
"John has been great to me since he came in," he said.
"He's given me the opportunity to go out and play and everything has been great.
"Everyone is trying to raise the bar. As an individual, I'm trying to raise the bar every day, and that's what you need to do as a professional."
"In this game, if you stay still and rest on your laurels you only go one way and that's backwards."
A turbulent week for the Easter Road side ended with the club denying allegations that midfielders Michael Stewart and Dean Shiels had been sacked.
However, neither will be in the squad to face the Pars at Hampden on Sunday.
