Hibernian are to start work on their new training complex next week but the �3m development will not be ready for the start of next season. "I've been told that there is a 5 March start and the finish is a little bit later than we hoped for," manager John Collins told the Scotsman.
"The building may be ready for August but for the actual pitches we are talking about October.
"I'm looking forward to getting there so, so much."
The Edinburgh side agreed the purchase of 36 acres of farmland in, East Mains, East Lothian in May.
Planning permission was granted for the site in September but there have been delays in obtaining building warrants.
Hibs are currently training in Spain as they prepare for Sunday's home game with Rangers.
