Brown helped Hibs reach the CIS Cup final on Wednesday night |
Hibernian manager John Collins expects Scott Brown to follow midfield partner Kevin Thomson out of the Edinburgh club in the summer. "He is not a player any manager would like to lose," said Collins. "But good footballers don't grow on trees and we can't hold on to him forever.
"Someone will come in for him in the summer and he'll probably move."
Collins added that Brown "showed fantastic attitude and he drove us forward" in beating St Johnstone.
Brown had attracted interest during the January transfer window from Celtic, Charlton, Rangers and West Brom.
But it was Thomson who moved to Rangers for 2m.
And Brown has since been quoted as saying that he will see out his contract at Easter Road before helping Hibs to the CIS Cup final.
