John Collins admits St Johnstone made it hard for Hibs

"We are delighted to be in the final," Collins told BBC Sport. "It's great for the players and for the supporters.

"We did it the hard way, but you don't win cups easily and St Johnstone made it hard for us, snapping at our heels all over the place.

"Sometimes you have to dig deep and my players did that for me."

Hibs captain Rob Jones was delighted to lead the club into a cup final.

"It's unbelievable," he said.

"It was not our best game, but it just shows the character of the side.

"The way we came back was fantastic. The work-rate and commitment was unreal."
