French midfielder Beuzelin has not played since 2 January |
Hibernian manager Tony Mowbray will allow Guillaume Beuzelin to decide the date for his return to action. The 27-year-old midfielder has recently returned to training after rupturing his cruciate ligament at Kilmarnock's Rugby Park on 2 January.
And Mowbray told the Edinburgh Evening News on Saturday: "I am leaving the decision on when Guillaume is ready to the player himself.
"I am not going to force him to play until he feels confident."
The Frenchman moved to Easter Road in July 2004 and has been a key player for Hibs.
But the former Le Havre player has been unlucky with injuries and missed almost half of his first season with an ankle problem.
"He has been training for the last couple of weeks but you have to remember he has been out for 10 months now," continued Mowbray.
"Guillaume will tell me when his confidence is up to playing a game.
"There is nothing pencilled in for him, no expectation on him to play.
"When he feels ready to play part of a game, he will tell me."
