Beuzelin has been impressive for Hibs this season |
French midfielder Guillaume Beuzelin has signed a new contract to keep him at Hibernian until the end of 2008. The 25-year-old joined the Easter Road club from Le Havre on an initial two-year deal in the summer.
"Guillaume has been the catalyst of the passing football philosophy we are trying to develop," manager Tony Mowbray told the club website.
"Given he will no doubt be coveted by a number of other teams, we were keen to extend his contract."
Beuzelin has been a huge hit with the Hibs fans and has pitched in with three goals for the Edinburgh club.
"For a player with such talent, he also has great humility," added Mowbray.
"He is absolutely right for Hibernian.
"He is a great example in particular to the younger players, as to what can be achieved through technique, close skills and an ability to manipulate the ball."
