And Turner added that the club had benefited from improvements off the pitch: "We had to stabilise the club financially, it took us a long time to do that and we've gradually improved everything.
"We've traded in the black for the last five years and we believe we can go forward again."
Turner's assistant John Trewick was also ecstatic about the Bulls' success.
"Two promotions in three seasons, it's a fantastic achievement.
"People talk about Mourinho being special but some have got to look a little closer to home to see what's actually been achieved.
"We've got limited resources at this club and, even if I say so myself, two in three years is absolutely phenomenal.

"There's been a big knot come out of my stomach, I feel fantastic, the journey's been incredible."
Meanwhile Hereford midfielder Clint Easton was pleased to be able to prove the club's critics wrong.
"We were tipped to go down at the start of the season but everyone stuck together.
