Hereford United have signed goalkeeper Ryan Esson on a free transfer.
The Scotsman has joined the club because the Bulls are without a back-up keeper after Mike Ingham was ruled out for six weeks with a hand injury.
Esson has signed a contract which will keep him at the club until the end of the season and he will also be eligible for the play-offs if needed.
The 27-year-old played over 100 games for Aberdeen before moving to Shrewsbury but was released in January.
