Leeds United will travel to Edgar Street for the first round |
Officials at Hereford United are preparing for a possible sell-out game after being handed a home tie against in-form Leeds in the FA Cup. The League One side will travel to Edgar Street for the first-round game on Friday, 9 November at 1945 GMT.
Coach John Trewick told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "I'd be surprised if we don't get close to a capacity crowd.
"In the first round, we'd be looking for an easier draw, but let's bring it on - it's a mouth-watering prospect."
Both clubs will also receive a payment of 75,000 from the FA's broadcast fund after the match was moved to the Friday evening for live television coverage.
"That would be the icing on the cake financially for us. I can't see a more attractive draw in this round of the Cup," Trewick said before the TV games were announced.
"We could go and beat them - giant-killing acts are the lifeblood of the FA Cup."
The other televised game is Torquay's south-west derby against Yeovil, which will be live on BBC TV on Sunday, 11 November.
