Hearts unfazed by Csaba Laszlo's unfair dismissal claim
Former Hearts boss Csaba Laszlo has filed a claim for unfair dismissal
Hearts say they will "rigorously defend" any court action taken by former manager Csaba Laszlo.
Laszlo, who was dismissed in January after 18 months in charge, has filed a claim for unfair dismissal and the case is expected to heard later this year.
Hearts said they were unsurprised to see him seek to profit from the club because of his attitude towards them.
"But we will rigorously defend our position if he proceeds in this way," the spokesperson added.
The 45-year-old Romanian-born Hungarian citizen was the longest-serving boss of the Vladimir Romanov era, which began in 2005.
He had become increasingly frustrated over his inability to strengthen his squad and a lack of transfer funds.
The Hungarian still had 18 months left on his deal when he was replaced with Jim Jefferies, who had left Scottish Premier League rivals Kilmarnock a few weeks earlier.
