Hearts to discipline Christian Nade for sending off

Hearts striker Christian Nade will be disciplined by the club after his sending off against Rangers.

The Frenchman is the eighth Hearts player to see red this season and the Scottish FA has hit the Edinburgh club with a £10,000 fine.

That sum follows a £50,000 punishment for ill-discipline in August.

Reacting to the latest fine, manager Csaba Laszlo said: "This is stupid. We punished ourselves. We have a problem paying the money."

Nade received his second yellow card on 73 minutes at Ibrox for kicking the ball away after the referee's whistled had blown for an offside decision.

The Edinburgh side took the lead soon after his dismissal but were pegged back by a last-gasp equaliser from Rangers.

"I don't think you must only talk and then punish financially. You must go a little bit deeper," said Laszlo when asked about how Nade would be treated.

"We will handle the situation internally.

"I said after the Rangers game that when a player is sent off that weakens the team.

"In the situation we are in we cannot accept this. Our club will be fined again.

"This message must be the last warning for everyone at this club."
