Elliot had a successful loan spell at First Division outfit Livingston

Hearts' forward Calum Elliot has been named Clydesdale Bank Premier League Young Player of the Month for April.

Elliot, 22, picked up the same award in the Scottish Football League in October while on loan at Livingston.

He returned to Hearts in January and scored twice in the recent 3-1 win league win over Kilmarnock.

Elliot, who is out of contract in the summer, was a target for Inverness Caledonian Thistle and MK Dons but opted for a loan deal at Almondvale.
