Hearts have been fined 10,000 by the Scottish Football Association for their poor disciplinary record this term.
The sum was suspended from July 2008, when the Edinburgh club received a 30,000 fine and were warned about their players' future conduct.
However, by picking up seven red and 37 yellow cards since August, they have amassed 163 disciplinary points.
The Tynecastle club have also been warned they will face further sanctions if they do not address the problem.
Kilmarnock, meanwhile, have escaped with a warning for their disciplinary record, which is actually worse this season than that of Hearts.
The Ayrshire club have 178 points after receiving two red cards and 56 yellows.
