Laszlo urges Driver move caution

Hearts manager Csaba Laszlo has warned winger Andrew Driver against a hasty decision to switch to another club.

Driver's form this season has attracted interest from a host of clubs and he had a hand in all three goals in Saturday's 3-2 win over Inverness.

"When a player is doing well, you are going to get clubs having a look at him," Laszlo told Hearts website.

"He's someone who is improving all the time, but he has to go to a club where he's going to play and keep improving."

English-born Driver has been on Hearts' books since 2003 and scored on his debut three years later in a 4-1 win over Inverness Caley Thistle.

The Edinburgh club's website has itself suggested that Dynamo Kiev, Rangers, Everton, Bolton and Burnley have shown an interest in the 21-year-old.

"It is no secret we have had scouts from many clubs here at Tynecastle and that is a positive thing for me," said Laszlo.

"Andrew wants to keep developing and, if the opportunity does come, he must decide if a particular move is right for him.

"He has a lot of people advising him. I am not his agent or his father - I am his manager and I would be happy for him to go to a higher stage if the situation was right for everyone.

"When you are young, you have to move at the right time to the right club."

"He doesn't want to sit on the bench every week and see his progress and confidence affected.
