England under-21 coach Stuart Pearce is keeping an eye on Hearts winger Andrew Driver with a view to including him in his next squad.
Driver, 21, was the subject of a bid from Burnley in the summer but signed a five-year contract extension at Hearts.
"I was at Tynecastle on Saturday to watch Andrew Driver," Pearce told the Hearts website. "It is the third time I have seen him play.
"He is a young lad who is in the age group and playing well for his club."
Driver moved to Scotland from Oldham when he was 11 and worked his way through the Hearts youth academy system.
He has been tipped for a call-up to the England U21 squad as they prepare for the finals of the European Championships in Sweden next summer.
"I wasn't at the Falkirk match but our scouts were there and said he scored an outstanding goal," added Pearce.
"There are a lot of good players in his position but a lot can happen in that age group."
