Hearts manager Csaba Laszlo has confirmed that Saulius Mikoliunas will not require surgery on his knee and will be assessed again in four weeks.
Tests concluded that the 24-year-old Lithuania international suffered a torn lateral ligament during the recent 1-0 league win against St Mirren.
However, Laszlo said the injury will rule the midfielder out for two months.
"Miko is in a brace at the moment and still in some pain, but he doesn't need an operation," said Laszlo.
