Kello played in Kaunas' victory over Rangers in the recent Champions qualifier
Hearts have signed Slovakian goalkeeper Marian Kello from FBK Kaunas.
The 25-year-old will arrive in Scotland on Friday having participated in Kaunas' third round qualifier against Danish side Aalborg.
Kello recently featured in Kaunas' victory over Rangers in the Champions League second qualifying round.
He becomes Hearts' third signing of the summer and the move will almost certainly end Hearts' interest the Hungary goalkeeper Janos Balogh.
Hearts manager Csaba Laszlo has been keen to strengthen the goalkeeping department and allow Stevie Banks more time to concentrate on his coaching.
"I saw this goalkeeper against Rangers twice and I think he is a talented goalkeeper and I am delighted to have signed him," Lazslo told the Hearts website.
"We are searching for a goalkeeper and he was one of our candidates. I think this goalkeeper has the quality to grow into the team.
"We now have the goalkeeper, David Obua and Mike Tullberg and our focus must be on always bringing in quality. All three players have quality.
"We are not just here to bring in players, we must search for good players.
"We have had luck with finding this goalkeeper and we are making good progress."
