Basso joined Hearts in August 2007

Hearts boss Csaba Laszlo has told goalkeeper Anthony Basso that he is free to find another club.

The Frenchman had been on trial at Livingston after being left behind while Hearts went to Germany for a pre-season training camp.

Basso, who is in the final year of his contract with the club, has also been interesting clubs overseas.

The former Auxerre goalkeeper made just eight appearances after joining the Edinburgh outfit last summer.
