Frail praise for teenager Jonsson
Hearts assistant manager Stephen Frail
Stephen Frail thought his side deserved a draw
Hearts assistant Stephen Frail picked out Icelandic teenager Eggert Jonsson for praise despite the error that led to Aberdeen's goal in a 1-1 draw.

"He gave away the goal with a bad mistake, but I thought he was fantastic in his first start for the club," Frail told BBC Sport.

He also praised striker Andrius Velicka for his work rate at Pittodrie.

"He has the ability to score goals and we need to make sure that we create more chances for him," said Frail.

The assistant manger thought that his side merited their 1-1 draw with Aberdeen at Pittodrie.

"I'm delighted with their spirit, delighted with their attitude and delighted with the way they passed the ball," he said.

"I thought that, from the first minute to last, we were the dominate team.

"When we lost the goal, we kept playing and it was a superb strike by Michael Stewart."

Hearts had been booed off the pitch by their own fans after losing their opening game of the season to city rivals Hibernian.

"I don't think Monday's performance was as bad as some make out, but this was a big improvement," added Frail.
