Sheffield United narrowly lost out on their Premiership status under Warnock in 2006/2007 |
Former Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock has admitted he would be interested in any future managerial vacancy at Hearts. Warnock, 58, resigned as Blades boss following the Yorkshire side's relegation from the Premiership.
And he told Record PM: "I love Edinburgh and my wife would love me to go there, so if Hearts came looking for a manager that would interest me."
Sporting director Anatoly Korobochka took interim charge of Hearts in March.
The Jam Tarts, chasing a Uefa Cup spot, have enjoyed recent wins over Hibernian and Celtic, with Ukrainian Korobochka working alongside assistant Stephen Frail.
But there has been speculation that owner Vladimir Romanov may opt to go for a British coach, and Warnock has expressed a determination to return to the game after seven years with United.
