Frenchman Brellier has been with Hearts for two seasons |
Midfielder Julien Brellier has revealed that he will definitely be leaving Hearts at the end of the season. The 25-year-old Frenchman rejected the offer of a new deal last summer and will leave Tynecastle as a free agent.
"I will go because I haven't had a contract offer for a long time," he told the Edinburgh Evening News.
"Last summer I really wanted to stay but if you don't feel the confidence of the club and the people around you then you can't sign any contract."
Although a big favourite with the fans, Brellier has been in and out of the team this season, after an impressive first campaign in Scotland.
Brellier, who joined Hearts on a free transfer from Inter Milan, has been linked with former Tynecastle boss George Burley, now at Southampton.
