Controversial Hearts striker Mauricio Pinilla has pleaded for the chance of an extended run in the first-team. The 23-year-old failed to become a regular on his arrival at Tynecastle and had an equally disappointing loan spell with Universidad de Chile.
But he told Hearts' website: "I'm very happy to be back here in Scotland with Hearts. I want to play.
"This year is very important for me. I need to play 30 games or 35 games without stopping."
Pinilla has already been on the books of Inter Milan, who retain a 50% stake in the player, Chievo, Celta Vigo, Racing Santander and Sporting Lisbon.
His inability to settle struck again when he started just four games for Hearts last season, although his three goals hinted at his talent and potential.

Pinilla returned to his homeland for six months, but his time with Universidad was blighted by injury and shrouded in allegations of an affair with a team-mate's wife and other off-field problems.
He was omitted from the national squad for the Copa America.
But, despite speculation about his future, he has returned to Hearts and is poised to play in their pre-season friendly against Austria Vienna.
"Maybe I would prefer to rest here in Hearts for one year for normal play, because last season sometimes I went to play for the national team, got injured, and it was not good for me to travel 24 hours," said Pinilla.
"I needed treatment for six months, but now I am very good."
The striker has high hopes for the Edinburgh club.
"I will stay here to be the champions. I want to be a champion in Europe for the first time in my career," he added.
"Believe in the team, believe in me and believe in this season."
