 Ognjen Koroman is a target for Hearts |
Hearts have signed Lithuania goalkeeper Eduardas Kurskis and Polish striker Arkadiusz Klimek. And they are negotiating with Russian club Terek Grozny in an attempt to sign Serbian midfielder Ognjen Koroman, presently on loan with Portsmouth.
Kurskis, 30, and Klimek, 29, arrive at Hearts via feeder club Kaunas.
The goalkeeper had impressed on trial, while Klimek's eight goals in 30 games helped Kaunas win the Lithuanian league title at the end of last year.
Hearts already have eight players in their squad who have either signed permanently from Kaunas or who are on loan from the Lithuanian club.
Klimek previously played for Wisla Plock in his homeland and also had a spell in Greece with Panionios.
Kurskis has six international caps.
Neither is expected to be involved in Hearts' Scottish Cup tie away to Stranraer on Saturday.
Hearts attempted to sign Koroman last January, but he went on loan to Portsmouth, a deal that continued this season.
But the 28-year-old has played only three times for Portsmouth in the English Premiership this season.
It is being reported that a modest six-figure fee could secure Koroman, who played more than 20 times for Serbia & Montenegro.
